Traffic regulations are being augmented with the development of a new system poised to automatically levy fines on vehicles lacking a valid Pollution Under Control (PUC) certificate.

To enhance global adherence to traffic laws and regulations, stringent fines or vehicle seizure are imposed on violators. However, despite enforcement efforts, some drivers intentionally flout the law, leading to frequent fines. To tackle this issue, a new system is being developed to automatically impose fines at petrol pumps on vehicles lacking a valid Pollution Under Control (PUC) certificate.
