On 15 November 2025, IndiGo will begin operating daily non-stop flights between Mumbai and Madinah, using its Airbus A320 aircraft.
This route adds to the airline’s existing connection from Hyderabad to Madinah, which currently runs four times a week and will also be upgraded to a daily service from 16 November 2025.
IndiGo already offers more than 150 flights between India and four Saudi Arabian cities: Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam and Madinah.
The launch comes as travel between India and Saudi Arabia is growing strongly — driven by religious tourism, trade ties and workforce movement.
Vinay Malhotra, Head of Sales at IndiGo, emphasised the importance of Madinah as a destination of spiritual and cultural significance, particularly for Indian pilgrims. He noted that the new Mumbai–Madinah route strengthens IndiGo’s international network and better serves the rising demand for travel to the holy city.
