Porter Airlines has announced a North American expansion, with plans to increase service between Boston and Canada in 2026. The Toronto-based carrier will introduce two new high-frequency, nonstop routes from Boston to Montréal and Toronto beginning in May, connecting travelers to two additional Canadian airports.

Currently, Porter operates four daily nonstop flights from Boston’s Logan International Airport to Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport, along with one daily nonstop flight to Ottawa International Airport, all using 78-seat De Havilland Dash 8-400 aircraft.

With the expansion, the airline will launch daily service from Logan to Montréal–Trudeau International Airport – operating seven times per week on the Dash 8-400 – and will add 14 weekly flights to Toronto Pearson International Airport aboard the 132-seat Embraer E195-E2. Both new routes begin on May 14.

“We’re significantly increasing Porter’s flight schedule this summer, with growth across every region we serve,” said Andrew Pierce, vice president of network planning and reporting for Porter Airlines, in a statement. “Our overall network is expanding by 20%—the fastest growth rate of any airline in North America—as we continue welcoming more passengers.”

Porter aircraft feature no middle seats, and customers enjoy premium snacks along with complimentary beer and wine. Passengers flying on the Embraer E195-E2 also receive free, high-speed Wi-Fi.
