Porter Airlines announces increased Canada service from Boston

Porter Airlines has unveiled plans for a North American expansion, which will boost service between Boston and Canada starting in 2026.

The Toronto-based Porter Airlines is launching two new direct, high-frequency routes from Boston to Montréal and Toronto beginning in May, giving Bostonians access to two additional Canadian airports.
Currently, the airline operates four direct daily flights from Logan International Airport to Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport, along with one daily nonstop flight from Boston to Ottawa International Airport. Both services use the 78-seat De Havilland Dash 8-400.

Under the expansion, Porter will offer seven weekly flights from Logan to Montréal–Trudeau International Airport on the Dash 8-400, and 14 weekly flights to Toronto Pearson International Airport aboard the 132-seat Embraer E195-E2. Both new routes launch on May 14.

“We are making a substantial increase in flights for Porter this summer, touching on every region we fly to,” said Andrew Pierce, the airline’s vice president of network planning and reporting. “Our overall network is growing by 20%, the fastest rate for any airline in North America, as we continue providing service for more passengers.”

Porter offers a no-middle-seat cabin layout, premium snacks, and complimentary wine and beer on all flights. Passengers aboard the Embraer E195-E2 also enjoy free, high-speed Wi-Fi.
