Bhubaneswar Airport to Introduce New Flight Routes in January 2025

Bhubaneswar: Starting January 2025, IndiGo and Air India Express will launch new domestic flight routes from Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) in Bhubaneswar, significantly enhancing the airport’s connectivity, according to airport authorities.

IndiGo is set to launch new flight routes from Bhubaneswar, with flights to Indore scheduled four days a week and flights to Dehradun three days a week, beginning January 1. All these flights will depart from Bhubaneswar at 3:00 PM (1500 hours).

Air India Express will begin flights from Bhubaneswar to Lucknow and Jaipur three days a week, as well as daily flights to Cochin, starting January 3.

Moreover, the airline intends to further boost the city’s air connectivity by adding five new destinations to its network from Bhubaneswar.

Additionally, airport authorities have announced plans for a new Bengaluru route, with departures from Bhubaneswar at 6:15 AM and arrivals back at 12:20 AM, starting January 4.

The expansion of flight routes by IndiGo and Air India Express significantly boosts the connectivity of Biju Patnaik International Airport, making travel more convenient for passengers.
