NYC Under Threat: Severe Thunderstorms Possible
A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect until 11 p.m. for parts of the Tri-State area, according to the National Weather Service. New Jersey faces the highest risk of severe weather, while New York City and the rest of the region are under a lower threat.
