SVPIA Achieves First Place in ACI’s Global Passenger Satisfaction Survey

Ahmedabad’s Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport (SVPIA), managed by the Adani Group, has been ranked No. 1 for passenger satisfaction and overall experience in Airports Council International’s (ACI) Airport Service Quality (ASQ) survey for Q2 2025.
Falling under the 5–15 million passengers per annum (MPPA) category, the airport maintained its perfect score of 5 out of 5, continuing its top performance from Q1 2025. The ASQ survey is a globally recognized benchmark that captures real-time passenger feedback on key aspects such as check-in, security, cleanliness, staff courtesy, ease of navigation, and overall airport ambience.
SVPIA distinguished itself not just through operational efficiency but by delivering an emotionally fulfilling travel experience. Survey results highlighted a strong “emotional score,” reflecting that passengers departed the airport with a lasting positive impression.
Travelers particularly appreciated the well-managed check-in counters, short wait times, polite staff, clean and comfortable seating areas, and hassle-free security processes.
This recognition highlights Adani Airports’ dedication to transforming Indian airports into world-class, passenger-focused destinations. SVPIA has made significant strides in upgrading its infrastructure, embracing digital technologies, and investing in comprehensive staff training to elevate the overall service experience.
In FY 2024–25, the airport handled 13.3 million passengers and nearly 280 flights daily, making it the busiest airport in Gujarat. Additionally, SVPIA processes over 100,000 metric tons of cargo each year, reinforcing its role as a key aviation and logistics hub in the region.
SVPIA’s growing list of accolades reflects its commitment to excellence and sustainability. It is the first airport in India to receive the prestigious 5S Certification from JUSE and QCFI, holds a Level 4 ACI accreditation, and has been awarded the Zero Waste to Landfill certification by the CII-ITC Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Development.
With its latest ranking by Airports Council International (ACI), SVPIA is now recognized among the top airports globally, further cementing its reputation as a model for passenger experience and operational excellence in the Asia-Pacific region.
